Week 5 Fill flash...portable self contained flash-monoblocks

In groups of 3 we we asked to achieve a good exposure for a number of given situations/set-ups.

Outside we were required, using the .monobloks, to experiment with shooting a subject

• one light direct at subject/person

• one light-with turned umbrella

• two lights at 45* to the person

• one light behind camera, one light from side (both umbrellas)

• sandwiched one at 45* in front, one at 45* behind

Inside we were required to shoot the following

• a shot of subject with back to the window (balance interior and exterior light)

• bounce flash

• lights off--one light scary from side

• choice of locn. portrait of each team member using any technique

pending shot of megan or dylan as shot on megans camera

• fun shot
